LEAD has completed the erection of the new Pedestrian Bridge at the state of the art Golden Glades Multimodal Transportation Facility project being performed for the FDOT and MDTPW. The pedestrian bridge provides direct connectivity from the new Parking Garage to the existing Tri Rail Station. The bridge is supported by 3 cast in place concrete piers and has a total of two structural steel spans with lengths of 134’ (90,000 LBS – 3 pieces spliced on site) and 113’ (76,000 LBS – 2 pieces spliced on site). Kudos to the project team led by Graham Smith for completing this operation safely and without a glitch!
