Excited to announce that LEAD Engineering Contractors has been awarded the $18M Underline Phase 2 Design Build project by the Miami Dade Department of Transportation and Public Works. The Underline will transform underutilized land below Miami’s MetroRail to connect communities, improve pedestrian and bicyclist safety, create open space with restored natural habitats, encourage a healthy lifestyle, provide an easily accessible place to exercise, create a mobility corridor that integrates transit, car, biking and walking, and a canvas for artistic expression that will attract development along US1, and generate significant economic impact. The LEAD team, including prime designer A&P Consultant Transportation Engineers, subconsultants and subcontractors, look forward to working with MDTPW, The Friends of the Underline and all stakeholders to deliver a world class facility to our community.
